There have been many happy reunions this week, what with it being our turn to host the CRAFT<\/a> day, and also having the first week of CSA pick ups.<\/p>\n

We even met a few new friends at the All Natural and Go Organic Show on last Sunday.\u00a0 And when we got home after a long day, we were greeted by this:<\/p>\n

And I knew it would be a good week…<\/p>\n

The topic of our CRAFT day was draft horses, so we had to make sure the horses looked their best.\u00a0 Here they are in all their glory.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

After talking about the finer points of selecting your draft horses, Jess headed out on the row cultivator to show the interns how it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Then it was time to hang out with friends and eat some great food!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Then some weeding of the kale \u2013 which is much faster when you have 5 times the people there to help!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Strawberries are coming along nicely!\u00a0 As are the peas and bunching onions!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to come see us at Port Perry Farmers’ Market<\/a> on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm and Lakefield Farmers’ Market<\/a> on Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm.<\/p>\n
